Heat up factor for Alluminum alloy solution heat treatment in Continuous furnace
DearsWould you please kindly share how to define the heat up factor for Aluminum which is solution heat treated in continuous furnace?
Is there any relationship between the heat up factor and the furnace speed?
Thanks very much for sharing. Who can share any information for the heating up factor or how to define the total time in the continuous furnace when performing the solution heat treatment?
Thanks very much. u Englishgood good。 大表哥_ER7r0 发表于 2018-4-28 22:08
u Englishgood good。
:(
But there isn't any feedback about this question.
Maybe I didn't make myself understood.
I think it should be right that the faster the furnace speed is, the greater the heat up factor is.
Thanks all. Would you like to introduce somethingmoreabout the heat up factor? Well, I'm not sure what is the heat up factor. ;;P Is it the heating up speed?

Would you like to introduce somethingmoreabout the heat up factor?
We define the heat up dactor as: heating up time / plate thickness
(Heating up time means the time needed to reaching soaking time from the plate entring the continous furnace)

We define the heat up dactor as: heating up factor= heating up time / plate thickness

Is it the heating up speed?
It seems the heating up factor is not a commen defination.
We define the heat up dactor as: heating up factor= heating up time / plate thickness
(Heating up time means the time needed to reaching soaking time from the plate entring the continous furnace)

Well, I'm not sure what is the heat up factor. ;
It's my fualt.
I forgot the heating up factor was not a commen defination for HT.

Thanks! You shall define 'heat up factor' in your procedure.
As I know, it is not always called this name.
Then some tests are needed for the defination of heat up factor.
Of course, the different thickness and load shall also be considered.
I think you can select or define several load situations, and gather applicable heat up factors. Then define the different factors summarised through the tests.
And the operators can follow the work instrustructions. ???????????????????? hackyue 发表于 2018-10-17 14:31

Thanks so much.
Now we defined the new heat up factor based on several tests. LucySun 发表于 2021-4-14 16:14
Thanks so much.
Now we defined the new heat up factor based on several tests.
Glad to hear it works.
