  intergranular ox ides and associated transformation products are allowed ,but to a depth no greater than 0.0254mm. where performance reouires no intergranular oxindes or associated transformation products .this should be specified in the print.  
  well-distributed globular carbides are permitted ,closed network grain boundary carbides are not permitted ,small amounts of bainite in   t-e  case .w-ile not desirable. is permissible .
