effective case depth is the perpendicular distance between the white layer/steel interface and the point where the hardness falls below 50 HRC or 10 HRC less than the required hardness for tow consecutive readings。what’s this meaning ?
The ASTM of USA nitride effective case depth defination?
now ,the qustion is the company require us nitride effective case depth hardness is 45-50HRC, is we reach the 35-40HRC it ok that ?
