Position: Material & Process Engineer
Report to: Process Manager
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
This position is part of the company Aerospace Engineering organization and focuses on the materials and processes involved in the design and manufacture of parts that go into various aerospace products including aircraft propulsion engines and auxiliary power units.

Work with the supply base in mainland China and other South East Asia countries and the company manufacturing units.
·
Development work with Asia suppliers involved in manufacturing aerospace quality components for company.
·
Approve the suppliers, conducting maintenance audits to ensure specification and proves compliance.
·
Significantly interact with the supply chain sourcing organization in Shanghai.
·
Involve in knowledge of aerospace material specifications and the manufacturing processes used to make the part.
·
Give technical support to suppliers working to get NADCAP and company process approvals.
Requirements:
·
Strong experience in at least one of the following process areas: Chemistry: Wet chemical processing (cleaning, plating, anodize etc.), organic chemistry, elastomers and processes, laboratory testing. Metals: general heat treating, furnace brazing, welding, thermal spray coatings, forging, metal casting, NDT, physical metallurgy of alloys, laboratory testing.

Ability to communicate technical issues with the use of English.
·
At least 2 years of experience working in a Materials/ Process Engineering capacity.
·
Proficiency with the Mandarin Chinese language is desirable.
·
Written and oral proficiency with the native language.
·
Demonstrated ability as a self-starting, self-directed individual.
·
Working knowledge of the heat treatment, joining, NDT, forgings and castings.
·
Must be dedicated to customer satisfaction and demonstrated capability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers, customers and co-workers.
·
Ability to facilitate interpersonal relationships, resolve conflicts tactfully, confidently, quickly & positively influence others.
·
BS degree in a Material/ Chemical engineering discipline plus minimum 2 years working experience in Materials/ Chemical Engineering preferably in the Aerospace industry. New graduates with a Masters Degree in Materials or/ Metallurgy or/ Chemical Engineering will be considered with less experience.
·
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills at all organizational levels.

本人大学本科金属材料及热处理专业，工作15年，主要从事工艺及设备工作。除常规四把火外，一直从事渗碳，高频，冲模，压铸模，塑胶模的真空淬火和铝，铜，磁合金的热处理。
主要使用设备：
1.滴注式密封箱式渗碳（氮）淬火炉
2.调功，调压高频
3.油淬，气淬真空炉
4.低温预抽真空气体保护炉
5.箱式，井式炉，中温盐炉，低温油炉盐炉，盐槽，抛丸喷砂校直设备
主要成绩：
1.齿轮渗碳淬火后不用磨齿直接组装，变形微小
2.用热处理方法解决磨削裂纹
3.建立高频加热生产，工艺制度
4.建立真空淬火（油淬，气淬）工艺制度
5.根本解决磁合金热处理的工艺问题
主要使用材质：
低中高碳钢，弹簧钢，渗碳钢，冷热作模具钢，高速钢，奥氏体马氏体不锈钢，时效不锈钢，黄铜，青铜（锡，铍，铝）
