Austenitic Manganese Steel. Cast.
Shown in the photos are: interdendritic carbide particles and
"coring" (漸層) of the dendritic arms.

This as-cast specimen was not successfully solution annealed. It stayed
at 1020 C in a salt bath for too short a time (20 min) and then quenched in water.

感觉淬火温度不够,铁素体都还在,而且出现球状珠光体,可能温度在两相区,有些象球化退火,个人观点,请多指教

高爐 鉄渣

高爐是把鉄礦砂先做成生鉄的設備. 生鉄CE值很高(~ 5%), 為過共晶成份. 其鉄渣因急冷而成白鑄鉄.
外圍在空氣中脫碳形成一層Ferrite (1), 往內碳素漸高 有Pearlite層(2) 最後是正常的過共晶白鑄鉄(3).

    I see no crack in the photos.

   The zig-zag pattern in the middle of down-right quarter of photo E3
    is tiny Martensite plates formed between two larger plates.
